Summary: RECOVERjoy has prepared a party for you! Isn't that exciting?

The entire park is lit up with paper lanterns in shades of orange and yellow; there are even some floating serenely in the fountain. Music filters through the air, the style and tempo changing often. The robots you should by now be used to are moving about the area keeping the refreshments table stocked and cleaning up any messes that might appear. This is a party, after all.

As for those points, well, you're sure to get some if you earn them yourself. Don't worry, RECOVERjoy has provided a few ways for you to start collecting.

[The table looks pretty deserted, as does all of the food that someone put such hard work into to make....Elijah can relate, and really, what a waste...of course, that doesn't mean he's not going to be cautious of the obvious traps around him. He's just going to...walk on the fence, so to speak. He always balances himself out either way.

SO DON'T FREAK OUT MEREDITH but here he comes, with his goodybag, and about two plates filled with hamburgers, salad, hotdogs....oh jeez.] Meredith!

How did I know I'd find you hiding away in the dark? [Elijah looks VERY lively, and is giving Meredith a beaming grin.] Meredith, [Elijah is holding back laughter.] You won't believe what they put in these bags!

[ Wha- ]

What do you think you're doing? [ OKAY, it wasn't weird to see Elijah totally bury himself in food, but Meredith figured he'd know better..

He quits slouching in his chair and just looks at him and the hill of food in his arms. ]

[varmint]

Indulging? [Without skipping a beat. Meredith pls can't you see he brought a plate for you too. Now you don't have to walk ALL THE WAY over there.]

It's still a party, you know. We ought to enjoy ourselves while we can. Not to mention it's all free! [For good reason.]

Oh, aren't you going to have any?

[bound]

[ Meredith is really having trouble believing this. ]

No! Elijah- [ Elijah is lucky Meredith isn't grabbing the food to forcibly set it down right about now. Or UNlucky. ]

They put poison in these bags. Why did you pick up this food??

[varmint]

[oh no....Meredith is upset....]

Meredith, [He begins, taking a seat and setting down the potentially hazardous refreshments on the table.] I know very well they put poison in these bags. As well as these handy pocket knives...and razors...[He chortles, but clears his throat.]

They're really going all out, wouldn't you agree? [prods at his ice cream...] So let's relax for now. At least until things get interesting. And we know they will. [elijah that WAS SO LAME. But he seems satisfied...and just eats away at his frozen treat.]

[bound]

That's not what I-

[ Really.

Meredith stops, and watches him for a minute. He's both frozen with disbelief and silently waiting for Elijah to fall over.

But he doesn't... Meredith sighs, resigned. ]

Anything here can be poisoned, Elijah. [ FROWNS. At least the ice cream was safe. ]

[varmint]

[SEE, all is well. All Elijah might suffer through tonight is a brain freeze or two.] Don't I know it!

But all that aside.

[Elijah sets his plate down, tone dropping considerably (even though it was just them two for now...)] I think tonight...is an opportune time to gain a few points. We may have held off on our 'tasks' for too long. [Elijah already has his sights set on a specific area of the park.]

[ Well, not that he expected any less in the first place. Meredith slouches a bit after that; he honestly is a little hungry, but not as long as he's here amongst goodie bags of poison.

Oh. Meredith raises his eyes to look at Elijah now, and gives him his attention. ]

Did you have something in mind? [ It takes Meredith some effort not to turn his head to try and spot whatever it was Elijah was scheming around.. ]
