let them eat... forks?
Characters: Tomoko and open!
Date: All week!
Rating/Warnings: uh, will change if things go badly, but PG for now.
Summary: Tomoko finally attempts to play this awful game and do a mission! The one with sharp objects and beds!
[Points beginning to dwindle, Tomoko doesn't have much choice but to to get out there and try to dig up some mission points. She's cleaned the kitchens out of forks and other pointy utensils, stuffing them into her old schoolbag to carry, and went a-jingling off to visit any unlocked rooms she could find.
New people, not so new people, she didn't actually know for sure who was where or what! Guess that's what she gets for trying to stay under the radar than going out and talking to these people more, but ultimately? It shouldn't matter too much, right? Sitting on a sharp fork would cause anyone discomfort, so...
Tomoko can be found several places!
A. In a kitchen on the various different floors, raiding the drawers of forks and such. She checks how sharp they are with a fingertip before either putting them back or adding them to her collection in the schoolbag.
B. Walking through the building halls with a suspiciously clanky bag, looking more nervous than she usually does, before or even after slipping forks under mattress covers!
C. Or even inside a room, in the process of doing just that. She's not particularly sneaky, though she has been making sure rooms are empty before sneaking in to set up her little fork-bed traps!]
(OOC: I don't know how many people will want to catch her in the act, so I'm going to cap the C option to 3 people. Sorry! That doesn't mean she has trapped your bed or that you've fallen for it, however! That part is entirely up to you.)

snagging option c if i can!!
Stumbling upon Tomoko's suspicious act had happened completely by accident. When he'd first gone into his bedroom, Mikado had more or less disregarded her presence and left-- that was, of course, until he realized a girl (one of which definitely didn't share his apartment with him) had business in rummaging through his bed.
This can't be good.
After doubletaking and bolting back to his bedroom, he hesitates by the doorframe. How is he supposed to approach her? How does he know that she won't lunge for him and attack him like a savage for catching her doing-- well, whatever it was she was doing?
This can't be good at all. ]
Ah, um.. e-excuse me, but-- [ And then he notices the cutlery in her hand.. and then the millions stashed away in her bag. What the hell? ] --wait, are those forks?
works for me! o7
Maybe he needed glasses or something--
Oh, nope. He's back. Tomoko freezes again, looking at him like he's the worst possible thing she could have ever seen, like she might suddenly be ill! As if he's the one at fault here! Like, how dare he come back to his own room!]
Um... u-um... uh... [She stammers and turns to face the door, fork in hand being hidden behind her back.] N-no! No! Th-they aren't... they're just... um... just...
[ohgodohgodohgod she doesn't have a lie handy for this kind of thing what does she say]

[ This is definitely not good. He's caught someone doing something wrong-- so what's he supposed to do about it?
He's not at all at fault, and yet, he still feels like he's in the wrong. Somehow. The look she's giving him is definitely working. Maybe he should've ignored her and gone about his business. ]

Your... [Well, she knows now. Tomoko looks about the dorm room, as if she's trying to find some escape route, but Mikado is standing in the way of the only real choice there. Think. Think! Didn't someone joke about her scaring people away before? Maybe that could work?! It's a good a time as any to test the theory, as far-fetched as it is.] S-so?! You shouldn't be in here when a girl is in here! People might start saying things about you! Get out!

She looks like a poor little dear stuck in front of headlights. If he were anyone else, he might've even laughed at her. Maybe. ]
W-Wait, what?! This is my room! How is this my fault?! [ Again, if he were anyone else, he'd have shooed her out and scolded her for ever planning on trying to dupe the (not so) great Ryuugamine Mikado. ] Ah, u-um-- shouldn't you be leaving..?!
[ He'd be lying if he said he wasn't scared. Tomoko is a very imposing young woman, after all. That's not to say that he's not willing to stand there and fight for his bedroom, though.
It seems we are at an impasse, Tomoko. ]

But aaah crud, that didn't work! He didn't run at all! Of course, why did she even think that would work?!]
B-because! [Yes. It is Mikado's fault because. That's rational.] I can't leave with you...! [And she levels the fork she'd been hiding behind her back at him accusingly instead of pointing a finger, to emphasize the problem they're having here.] With you blocking the exit like that!
a, if this is cool!
...Of course, he wasn't expecting to see some girl rifling through the drawers and... pulling out forks? Why in the world is she taking them...
Well, only one way to find out.]
...Hey. What're you gonna do with those?
no subject
It clangs and clatters on the floor and she winces at every little sound it makes.]
Uhhhh... [She turns around to see who it is once the knife has settled, eyes wide.] Cleaning them! I'm going to go clean them! They're... they're very dirty and no one's been doing the dishes!
[Yes. Yes, that is it.]
no subject
Then again, he thinks he can almost recognize the girl's voice, even if it would sound different when it's not over a phone. Still, it's a little hard to forget someone who'd sounded so nervous.
So he shrugs and plasters a smile on his face. Whatever she's trying to do, it's gotta be interesting at least.] Ah? Just let someone else do it!
...But I dunno if that bag's a good place to carry 'em anyway.
no subject
Tomoko looks down at the knife when he does and quickly reaches down to pick it back up. When she stands again, she... might accidentally be brandishing it in his direction, the point directed that by pure chance, even though it's not particularly dangerous as far as knives go.]
Someone else...? Um, no! No. It's fine! I don't have anything else to do, so... um... [She trails off for a second before giving him a confused look.] Huh? Why not a bag?
no subject
Hey, be careful with that! It's not so sharp, but you can hurt yourself if you're not, you know.
[He then folds his arms behind his head, still grinning.] Don't you think those could break your bag? Maybe not the outside, but the inside could get all torn up!
no subject
...sorry... [She mumbles the word and fixes her gaze to a space on the floor just in front of her instead of on Rin.] No? I didn't think of that. They didn't seem sharp enough to tear it up or anything.
no subject
Rin takes a couple careful steps forward, trying to get a closer look at the bag.] Ya think so? That's good! You don't want your bag getting all ruined, yeah?
But that's still a real weird place for it, you know. I dunno if I've ever seen anyone else carrying forks and knives like that.
